Les Commanders ont annoncé la prolongation de Sam Cosmi à l’aube de la saison 2024 de NFL.<\/h2>

Sam Cosmi est un Guard tout droit sorti de la draft NFL de 2021 au deuxième tour. Le guard de la capitale fédérale est un élément crucial pour cette attaque des Commanders<\/a>, surtout avec l’arrivée du nouveau quarterback, Jayden Daniels de LSU.<\/p>

« C’est un grand jour pour les Washington Commanders. Nous sommes ravis d’être parvenus à un accord sur une prolongation de contrat avec Sam Cosmi. Sam a adhéré à la vision que Dan Quinn et moi-même avons pour cette équipe depuis le premier jour », a déclaré Adam Peters<\/a>. « Il est un pilier de notre ligne offensive et nous pensons que les meilleurs jours de Sam sont à venir. Sécuriser Sam Cosmi pour les quatre prochaines années est très important pour les Commanders à l’aube d’une nouvelle saison de NFL qui rime avec un tout nouveau projet pour Washington, surtout après cette intersaison très solide de la capitale fédérale des Etats-Unis. Cosmi entrait en dernière année de son contrat rookie, lui qui provient tout droit de la cuvée de 2021.<\/p>

Au début, celui-ci était un tackle qui a migré la saison dernière en guard, une position où il était très compétitif. Il est apparu dans 40 matchs pour les Commanders et en a débuté 32 d’entre eux.
