Ja’Marr Chase<\/a> attend son tour. Amon-Ra St. Brown<\/a>, Justin Jefferson<\/a>, Ceedee Lamb<\/a>, et Brandon Aiyuk<\/a>, tous ont touché le pactole durant cet inter-saison.<\/h2>

Chase a décidé de rater les entraînements afin de forcer la main de ses dirigeants.<\/p>

À moins d’une semaine du premier match de la saison face aux Patriots de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, Ja’Marr Chase est toujours absent de l’entraînement des Bengals. Le receveur star essaie de forcer la main de ses dirigeants afin de profiter à son tour d’une revalorisation salariale.<\/p>

Les prolongations de contrat des autres receveurs star de la ligue lui ont forcément donné des idées. Au vu de son niveau, les Bengals ne peuvent se permettre de perdre un joueur de son calibre.<\/p>

D’autant plus après la saison compliquée qu’ils ont vécus, en partie due à la blessure de leur quarterback Joe Burrow<\/a>. Pour rappel, la saison dernière, les Bengals avaient terminé derniers de l’AFC Nord, avec seulement 9 petites victoires.<\/p>

Cette saison, ils comptent bien capitaliser sur leur duo star Burrow-Chase afin d’empêcher les Chiefs d’accéder à un nouveau SuperBowl.<\/p>

Notre confrère d’ESPN a d’ailleurs déclaré<\/a> :<\/p>

« D’après ce que j’entends, au cours des derniers jours, les Bengals ont intensifié leurs efforts pour parvenir à un accord avec Chase. Ils espèrent le ramener sur le terrain d’entraînement le plus rapidement possible »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Le front office demeure confiant et pense parvenir à un accord avant le premier match de leur saison.<\/h3>

Les dernières rumeurs parlent d’un montant égale ou même légèrement supérieur au récent contrat signé par Justin Jefferson. Pour rappel, il a signé une prolongation record avec les Vikings<\/a> à hauteur de 35 millions de dollars par an, faisant de lui le joueur non-quarterback le mieux payé de la ligue.<\/p>

Ja’Marr Chase pourrait donc établir un nouveau record et prendre la place de Jefferson dans les jours qui viennent.<\/p>
