Selon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/2024\/08\/26\/nfl-electronic-first-downs-technology\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Mark Maske<\/a> du Washington Post, la <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/fr\/nfl\/la-nfl-va-tester-le-hawk-eye-de-sony-durant-la-pre-saison\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>NFL<\/a> ne pr&eacute;voit pas d&rsquo;utiliser le syst&egrave;me de vision par ordinateur Hawk-Eye cette saison, bien qu&rsquo;il pourrait &ecirc;tre r&eacute;introduit en 2025.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bien que Hawk-Eye soit une innovation majeure dans le tennis, o&ugrave; il est utilis&eacute; pour d&eacute;terminer si une balle est &agrave; l&rsquo;int&eacute;rieur ou &agrave; l&rsquo;ext&eacute;rieur des limites, son utilisation pour d&eacute;tecter les first downs en football n&rsquo;a pas &eacute;t&eacute; aussi convaincante pendant la pr&eacute;saison. Le syst&egrave;me a notamment provoqu&eacute; des retards, comme lors du match de pr&eacute;saison entre les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/hawk-eye-technology-fails-to-impress-in-lions-giants-game\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Lions et les Giants<\/a>, o&ugrave; il a fallu beaucoup plus de temps que les cha&icirc;nes traditionnelles pour mesurer une action qui n&rsquo;&eacute;tait m&ecirc;me pas proche d&rsquo;un first down. Cette lenteur a montr&eacute; que la technologie n&rsquo;&eacute;tait pas encore pr&ecirc;te &agrave; remplacer les bonnes vieilles m&eacute;thodes dans un environnement comme le football.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dans le tennis, Hawk-Eye utilise des angles de cam&eacute;ra qui offrent une vue d&eacute;gag&eacute;e de la balle par rapport &agrave; la ligne, mais en football, c&rsquo;est bien plus difficile. Parfois, les joueurs obstruent la vue des cam&eacute;ras sur le ballon, ou il peut &ecirc;tre difficile de d&eacute;terminer si le genou du porteur du ballon &eacute;tait au sol avant que le ballon ne franchisse la ligne &agrave; atteindre. De plus, contrairement au tennis o&ugrave; la ligne est visible sur le terrain, la ligne &agrave; atteindre en NFL n&rsquo;est pas physiquement pr&eacute;sente, rendant l&rsquo;&eacute;valuation plus complexe.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La technologie Hawk-Eye pourrait bien fonctionner un jour dans la NFL, mais ce jour n&rsquo;est pas encore arriv&eacute;. La NFL continue d&rsquo;explorer des moyens d&rsquo;int&eacute;grer la technologie dans le sport, mais pour l&rsquo;instant, les cha&icirc;nes traditionnelles resteront le moyen principal de mesurer les premiers downs. Le retour &agrave; cette m&eacute;thode &eacute;prouv&eacute;e montre que, malgr&eacute; l&rsquo;int&eacute;r&ecirc;t pour l&rsquo;innovation, certaines traditions du football sont difficiles &agrave;
