Nommer un capitaine en NHL signifie quelque chose d’important pour une franchise.<\/h2>

Alors lorsque les Maple Leafs ont choisi de changer leur capitaine en passant de John Tavares à Auston Matthews, ce choix reflète beaucoup de chose.<\/p>

Preuve en est, aujourd’hui, 6 équipes au travers de la ligue n’ont pas de capitaine (Anaheim, Buffalo, Chicago, Seattle, Tampa Bay et Utah).<\/p>

Bleacher Report a classé les 10 meilleurs capitaines<\/a> actuels en NHL en se basant sur les critères suivants : les capitaines dont les performances personnelles et celles de l’équipe sont excellentes et qui donnent des exemples de leadership sur la glace ou dans les vestiaires.<\/p>

    L’expérience et le palmarès de Sidney Crosby semblent suffisant pour le placer en tête de ce classement. Avec deux saisons de suite à plus de 90 points à 36 ans démontrent encore qu’il est sans doute le meilleur joueur de sa génération.<\/p>

    Son successeur, Connor McDavid est déjà placé en deuxième place. Une place sans doute tout à fait légitime lorsqu’on prend en compte aussi le fait qu’il a été le plus jeune capitaine d’une franchise de NHL de l’histoire à seulement 19 ans. Il ne lui manque plus qu’un titre pour peut-être ravir cette première place.<\/p>
