L’arrivée de Jazz Chisholm Jr. à New York s’est faite sans grande agitation, mais il n’a pas fallu longtemps pour qu’il devienne une figure clé dans l’alignement des Yankees.<\/h2>

Acquis juste avant la date limite des échanges en provenance des Miami Marlins, Chisholm Jr. n’a pas perdu de temps pour prouver sa valeur, affichant une moyenne au bâton impressionnante de .316 et un OPS de 1.062 en seulement 14 matchs.<\/p>

Ce sont des chiffres comparables à ceux de stars telles qu’Aaron Judge et Shohei Ohtani.<\/p>

Son impact immédiat était exactement ce dont les Yankees avaient besoin. En proie à une série de contre-performances en milieu de saison, l’équipe avait besoin d’une étincelle pour relancer sa quête du titre de la Ligue américaine Est. Chisholm Jr. a fourni cette étincelle avec sa batte, sa vitesse et sa polyvalence, aidant les Yankees à obtenir un bilan de 9-5 depuis son arrivée et les rapprochant du sommet de la division.<\/p>

Cependant, l’excitation des Yankees a été tempérée par l’annonce de la blessure de Chisholm Jr. au ligament collatéral ulnaire (UCL). Le manager Aaron Boone<\/a> a révélé que Chisholm Jr. pourrait être placé sur la liste des blessés, la gravité de la blessure étant encore incertaine.
