Mardi, l’entraînement des Bengals de Cincinnati a pris une nouvelle tournure concernant le receveur Ja’Marr Chase.<\/span><\/h2>

Ja’Marr Chase a été noté absent lors de l’appel, une première pour le jeune receveur depuis le début du camp. Jusqu’à présent, bien qu’il n’ait pas participé aux entraînements en raison de négociations contractuelles, Chase<\/a> était resté visible sur le terrain. Après l’entraînement, l’entraîneur Zac Taylor<\/a> a décrit la situation comme étant « fluide », précisant que la participation du receveur sera évaluée « au jour le jour ».<\/span><\/p>

Taylor a toujours affirmé que l’absence de Ja’Marr Chase<\/a> suivait un plan préétabli, malgré les rumeurs de retenue contractuelle. Lors d’un événement médiatique en juillet, le président de l’équipe, Mike Brown, avait déjà indiqué qu’un accord avant le camp était peu probable. Pendant ce temps, la direction des Bengals, y compris Katie Blackburn et Duke Tobin, était présente pour observer l’entraînement avant le déplacement de l’équipe à Chicago pour un match de pré-saison.<\/span><\/p>

Ja’Marr Chase, qui n’a pas participé aux séances d’entraînement volontaires hors saison, a également limité sa présence au minicamp obligatoire des vétérans. Il a refusé de parler aux médias depuis la fin de la saison précédente.
