Lors du deuxième match d’un doubleheader au Yankee Stadium, Gerrit Cole a livré l’une de ses performances les plus dominantes de la saison.<\/h2>

Le lanceur droitier a réalisé un record personnel de 10 retraits sur des prises. Malgré ses efforts, les Yankees n’ont pas pu maintenir leur élan après la sortie de Cole, s’inclinant finalement face aux Rangers du Texas 9-4.<\/p>

Même lorsque les Rangers ont réussi à remplir les bases en quatrième manche, Gerrit Cole est resté serein, s’appuyant fortement sur sa courbe à deux coutures pour se sortir de cette situation délicate.<\/p>

Ses 90 lancers, dont 63 strikes, ont mis en évidence sa capacité à dominer dans la zone de strike et à adapter la vitesse de ses lancers pour déstabiliser les frappeurs.<\/p>

« Je me suis senti bien aujourd’hui », a commenté Gerrit Cole, en revenant sur sa capacité à varier les lancers et à garder les Rangers en haleine.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Cependant, le match a pris une autre tournure après la sortie de Gerrit Cole<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

Avec le score à égalité 1-1, Luke Weaver a été appelé en relève, mais a eu du mal à obtenir des retraits. Une erreur critique de communication sur le terrain a permis aux Rangers de remplir les bases, et ils ont saisi l’occasion avec un but sur balle avec les bases pleines, une balle haute et un home run de trois points.<\/p>

Cette offensive des Rangers a complètement changé la dynamique du match, et les Yankees n’ont pas pu se remettre.<\/p>

Le manager Aaron Boone a reconnu les difficultés de Weaver, mais a rapidement souligné l’importance de regarder vers l’avenir.<\/p>

« C’était une de ces journées. Cela arrive », a-t-il dit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Il a loué la performance de Gerrit Cole, notant que l’équipe est en train de gagner en élan malgré ce revers. Weaver, visiblement ébranlé par le résultat, a exprimé sa déception, mais reste déterminé à rebondir.<\/p>

« Gerrit a fait un travail tellement formidable. Ça fait mal, et on se sent un peu sous le choc. Mais il faut continuer à avancer », a-t-il déclaré.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>
