NFL – L’entraîneur principal des New England Patriots, Jerod Mayo, n’a pas souhaité faire de longs commentaires sur le cas Brandon Aiyuk.<\/h2>

L’arrivée de Jerod Mayo était peut être encore plus attendue aujourd’hui que les autres jours! La cause? Les rumeurs insistantes sur le fait que les New England Patriots feraient partie des deux dernières équipes<\/a> encore en lice, avec les Browns de Cleveland, pour accueillir au moyen d’un échange le receveur des San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk qui a demandé à être échangé en raison de désaccord contractuel avec la franchise californienne.<\/p>

Mais ne comptez pas vraiment sur Jerod Mayo pour vous faire de grandes révélations sur l’avancée du dossier. Dans un style que n’aurait pas renié Bill Belichick, le nouvel entraîneur des Patriots s’est contenté de botter en touche:<\/p>

« Je sais très bien ce que vous voulez tous savoir aujourd’hui. Mais j’ai appris au contact de Bill (Belichick) qu’il ne fallait jamais parler des joueurs qui appartenait aux autres franchises. C’est un principe qui me plaît beaucoup et que je compte bien continuer d’adopter dans le futur » a confié Jerod Mayo<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Dans la suite de la conférence de presse, Jerod Mayo ne confirmera même pas que les Patriots et les 49ers sont en contact pour un éventuel trade de Brandon Aiyuk. Il se contentera simplement de dire qu’il se concentre sur les joueurs présents actuellement chez les Patriots et qu’il est satisfait que son corps de receveur travaille dur. Pour savoir si les 49ers auront bientôt un nouveau receveur numéro 1, il faudra encore patienter…<\/p>
