Martin St. Louis, ancien coéquipier de Steven Stamkos chez le Lightning de Tampa Bay et actuel entraîneur en chef des Canadiens de Montréal, semble confiant pour la suite de la carrière de Stamkos.<\/h2>

Il pense que ce changement pourrait être bénéfique pour Stamkos, malgré le poids émotionnel de quitter une équipe où il a passé 16 années couronnées de succès.<\/p>

Le départ de Stamkos du Lightning, une équipe qu’il a dirigée en tant que capitaine et avec laquelle il a remporté deux Coupes Stanley, n’a pas été une décision facile. Selon St. Louis, qui a également quitté Tampa Bay dans des circonstances différentes après 13 saisons, le processus de départ peut être rempli d’émotions mitigées.<\/p>

Alors que St. Louis a demandé un échange vers la fin de sa carrière, Stamkos espérait rester avec le Lightning jusqu’à la retraite. Cependant, les négociations contractuelles ont échoué, le menant à devenir agent libre et à signer par la suite un contrat de quatre ans, d’une valeur de 32 millions de dollars, avec les Predators<\/a>.<\/p>

Réfléchissant à son propre parcours, St. Louis a partagé sa perspective avec NHL.com<\/a>, soulignant que vivre de nouveaux environnements peut être bénéfique pour les joueurs expérimentés.<\/p>

“Je ne vais pas entrer dans les détails sur la manière dont tout a été géré,” a déclaré St. Louis lors d’un événement caritatif. “C’est difficile de partir, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit une mauvaise chose pour ‘Stammer’ d’aller vivre autre chose.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Le passage de Steven Stamkos avec le Lightning a solidifié son statut de l’un des meilleurs buteurs de la LNH, le joueur de 34 ans sortant de sa septième saison à 40 buts. Son rôle en tant que visage de la franchise depuis qu’il a été sélectionné en première position au repêchage de 2008 souligne l’importance de son déménagement.<\/p>

Pour St. Louis et Stamkos, la transition du Lightning représente plus qu’un simple changement d’équipe ; c’est une évolution dans leurs parcours professionnels.<\/p>
