Malgré son insatisfaction vis-à-vis de son contrat actuel, Matthew Judon a choisi de participer pleinement au camp d’entraînement des Patriots.<\/h2>

Matthew Judon<\/strong><\/a>, qui devrait gagner 6,5 millions de dollars en salaire de base pour la saison 2024, est bien conscient que sa rémunération ne correspond pas à la valeur marchande d’un joueur de son calibre.<\/p>

Son contrat actuel rapporte en moyenne 11,25 millions de dollars par an, soit bien moins que ce que gagnent les meilleurs passeurs de la ligue. Pourtant, Judon, maintenant âgé de 32 ans, reste pragmatique quant à sa situation.<\/p>

“Ma signature est dessus, donc je dois jouer dessus”, a-t-il déclaré à Associated Press<\/a>. »Est-ce que je pense que c’est ma valeur ? Non. Mais, encore une fois, cela ne dépend pas de moi. J’espère pouvoir continuer à jouer ici et être un catalyseur pour l’une des meilleures défenses de la ligue. Si ce n’est pas le cas, ce n’est pas le cas.<\/p>\n

« Il est difficile de ne pas être jaloux ou envieux. Mais honnêtement, je dois me concentrer sur moi-même. Même si tout le monde aimerait que je reste ici longtemps, cela ne dépend pas de moi. Je me paierais beaucoup d’argent et ça ne me dérangerait pas. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Matthew Judon a exprimé son désir de rester avec l’équipe, citant l’environnement positif et la camaraderie au sein du vestiaire. Il a noté la nature addictive de la culture de l’équipe et exprimé sa réticence à déménager à nouveau, soulignant que bien qu’il ne puisse pas contrôler le côté commercial du sport, il valorise sa place au sein de l’organisation des Patriots.<\/p>

Reste à savoir si la direction des Patriots répondra à ses préoccupations, mais le dévouement de Judon envers l’équipe, malgré ses griefs financiers, est louable.<\/p>
