LeBron James ne devrait pas activer son option de joueur et pourrait signer une nouvelle prolongation de contrat avec les Lakers.<\/h2>

La date limite pour activer l’option de joueur a été fixée au 29 juin prochain et LeBron James<\/strong><\/a> ne le fera sans doute pas. Il deviendra donc agent libre et pourra donc renégocier un contrat avec le Lakers ou une autre franchise.<\/p>

Selon Dave McMenanim d’ESPN<\/a>, les Lakers auraient déjà sur la table une prolongation maximale de 3 ans et 160 millions de dollars.<\/p>

Avec un tel contrat, LeBron James serait verrouillé jusqu’en 2027 et il aurait alors 42 ans. Cela correspond aussi à la fin de contrat d’Anthony Davis s’il n’active pas son option de joueur.<\/p>

Avec l’arrivée de JJ Redick au poste d’entraîneur des Lakers, on peut aisément imaginer que tout est quasiment joué et que LeBron James sera à nouveau en purple & Gold<\/em> la saison prochaine.<\/p>

Un nouveau record en vue<\/h3>

Si LeBron James parafe effectivement ce contrat, il pourrait avoir joué 24 saison en NBA, ce qui constituerait un record absolu. Le King détrônerait Vince Carter avec ses 22 saisons en NBA.<\/p>

Avec la barre des 40 000 points dépassée, LeBron va tenter de pousser ce record encore plus loins avec les 3 années potentielles de présence dans la ligue qui lui reste.<\/p>

Jouera-t-il avec Bronny ?<\/h3>

Cette question aura sa réponse très rapidement. En effet, la draft NBA 2024, a lieu mercredi et jeudi.<\/p>

les Lakers possèdent deux choix lors de cette draft à l’heure où nous écrivons ces lignes : le 17è et le 55è. Il est peu probable de les voir choisir Bronny avec ce choix n°17 mais avec le 55è cela reste une possibilité.<\/p>

Même si Rich Paul a bien précisé que l’avenir de Bronny n’était pas lié à celui de son père, la probabilité de les voir réunis sous le même maillot devient de plus en plus forte.<\/p>
