NFL – Le feuilleton de l’été côté Bengals est sur le point de se terminer avec la signature du franchise tag par Tee Higgins.<\/h2>

L’offseason des Bengals<\/a> a été marquée par le franchise tag de Tee Higgins<\/a>. Le receveur des Bengals est arrivé au terme de son contrat rookie à la fin de la saison 2023 et n’a pas resigné à long terme. Celui-ci cherchait à obtenir un contrat à long terme avec un bon salaire, ce que ne pouvait pas offrir Cincinnati à son receveur numéro deux, surtout avec une éventuelle prolongation de Ja’Marr Chase<\/a>.<\/p>

Finalement, Tee Higgins a signé le contrat de son franchise tag d’une valeur de 21.8 millions de dollars le mettant ainsi sous contrat avec les Bengals pour la saison à venir. Cela permettrait donc à Cincinnati de récupérer leur receveur pour les camps de cet été.<\/p>

Cincinnati et Higgins ont jusqu’au 15 juillet pour parvenir à un accord<\/a> à long terme. Cependant, ce n’est pas dans les traditions de la Queen City de parvenir à un accord pluriannuel après avoir mis leur joueur sous franchise tag. Généralement, ils laissent ces joueurs devenir agents libres non restreints.<\/p>

Le receveur de 25 ans à jusqu’au début de la saison pour signer ce contrat. En revanche, attendre si tard pourrait pénaliser Higgins et son équipe, lui qui n’aura aucune préparation effectuée pour préparer cette saison 2024 importante pour Cincinnati.<\/p>
