Avec leur victoire de 4-3 jeudi soir au Rogers Place, les Panthers ne sont plus qu’à une victoire de leur tout premier balayage en Coupe Stanley, un exploit qui n’a pas été réalisé depuis 1998.<\/h2>

L’un des facteurs déterminants du parcours des Panthers cette saison en série éliminatoire a été leur profondeur. La capacité de Florida à marquer des buts depuis plusieurs lignes a constamment mis la pression sur leurs adversaires.<\/p>

Jeudi, cette profondeur était pleinement visible alors que les trois premiers buts des Panthers provenaient de différentes lignes. Sam Reinhart<\/strong><\/a>, Sam Bennett et Vladimir Tarasenko ont chacun trouvé le fond du filet en deuxième période.<\/p>

Cette attaque équilibrée a été un cauchemar pour les Oilers, qui ont eu du mal à égaler la puissance offensive de Florida. La défense d’Edmonton n’a pas réussi à contenir l’assaut incessant des Panthers.<\/p>

Notamment, Florida a réussi à garder les stars d’Edmonton, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl et Zach Hyman, hors de la feuille de pointage dans cette série. Les attaquants des Oilers, à l’exception de Warren Foegele et Ryan McLeod, ont été largement inefficaces, soulignant la supériorité de la profondeur des Panthers.<\/p>

Bobrovsky à nouveau décisif<\/h3>

Un autre élément crucial du succès de Florida a été Sergei Bobrovsky.<\/p>

Le gardien a été un mur devant les filets. Lors du troisième match, Bobrovsky a fait face à un déluge de tirs dès le début, en arrêtant 13 au cours de la première période seulement, y compris plusieurs lors des jeux de puissance.<\/p>

Les exploits de Bobrovsky se sont poursuivis en deuxième période, où il a réalisé des arrêts consécutifs sur Hyman et McDavid, préservant l’égalité 1-1. Ces arrêts se sont avérés être un tournant, car Tarasenko a marqué 38 secondes plus tard pour donner l’avantage à la Floride.<\/p>

Bobrovsky a terminé le match avec 32 arrêts, obtenant sa 15e victoire des séries éliminatoires.<\/p>

Des Oilers sans réponses<\/h3>

Les Oilers d’Edmonton, quant à eux, n’ont toujours pas trouvé les réponses à leur difficultés.<\/p>

Les blessures et les changements dans l’alignement ont affligé l’équipe, l’absence d’Evander Kane étant particulièrement notable. L’entraîneur Kris Knoblauch a effectué plusieurs ajustements pour le troisième match, y compris l’insertion de Corey Perry et Derek Ryan dans l’alignement et l’association de Darnell Nurse avec Philip Broberg en défense.<\/p>

Malgré ces efforts, les Oilers n’ont pas réussi à capitaliser sur leurs opportunités en avantage numérique, leur point fort depuis le début de ces séries éliminatoire.<\/p>
