Aucun des nombreux précédents de la ligue n’a vu une équipe revenir d’un déficit de 3-0 pour gagner la série.<\/p>

Pour mettre cela en perspective, les équipes de la NBA qui ont pris une avance de 3-0 dans une série au meilleur des sept matchs ont un record de 154-0. C’est-à-dire, 154 victoires de séries pour zéro défaite.<\/p>

Parmi ces 154 équipes qui se sont retrouvées dans un trou de 3-0, 15 ont réussi à gagner deux matchs pour forcer un sixième match, et quatre équipes ont réussi à forcer un septième match en remportant trois matchs consécutifs. Cependant, une quatrième victoire consécutive reste insaisissable.<\/p>

En 2023, les Celtics, deuxièmes têtes de série, ont forcé un septième match après avoir perdu les trois premiers matchs des finales de la Conférence Est contre le Heat, huitième tête de série.<\/p>
