Après une saison coupée nette par une lésion de la colonne vertébrale, De’Anthony Melton est agent libre, une situation qu’il semble apprécier.<\/h2>

Avec 44 matchs manqués la saison dernière, Melton a tout de même montré des qualités notamment défensive importante qui pourrait faire l’objet de convoitise à travers la ligue. Selon Bleacher Report<\/a>, le meneur pourrait signer un contrat aux alentours de 60 millions de dollars sur 4 saisons.<\/p>

Acquis en 2022 dans le trade de Danny Green chez les Grizzlies, De’Anthony Melton<\/strong><\/a> s’est établi comme une réelle présence notamment défensivement dans cette équipe des 76ers. De son côté, Melton aimerait bien revenir dans cette équipe :<\/p>

« Je serais ravi [de revenir aux Sixers], mais cela ne dépend pas de moi et je le comprends », a déclaré Melton.<\/a> « C’est ce que c’est et je comprends que c’est un business. Alors je vais faire avec ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Du cap space disponible<\/h3>

Les 76ers n’ont pour le moment que 3 joueurs sous contrat pour la saison prochaine. Tyrese Maxey devrait bientôt les rejoindre après une saison 2023-24 exceptionnelle. Cela laisse donc de la place pour faire revenir le meneur de jeu.<\/p>

Malgré les rumeurs d’arrivée d’une troisième grosse star pour épauler Joel Embiid et Tyrese Maxey, le 76ers pourraient avoir encore près de 65 millions de dollars disponibles pour signer des joueurs.<\/p>

La saison dernière, De’Anthony Melton a compilé en moyenne 11,1 points et 1,6 interceptions tout en réussissant 36 % de tirs à trois points en 38 matchs, dont 33 titularisations. Il était deuxième de la ligue en termes d’interceptions et parmi les leaders en matière de déviations de passe.<\/p>

Alors le plus important pour l’instant : se soigner pour revenir en forme pour le mois d’Octobre.<\/p>
