Pour sa première saison avec les Spurs, Victor Wembanyama a dépassé toutes les attentes en ce qui concerne son impact offensif et défensif sur les Spurs.<\/h2>

Le meilleur est sans doute à venir pour Wembanyama pour de nombreux observateurs.<\/p>

Adrian Wojnarowski a détaillé une conversation qu’il a eu avec un GM d’une équipe bien placée pour remporter le titre cette saison, à propos de Victor Wembanyama et de son futur :<\/p>

« Les Spurs seront à prendre au sérieux à cause de Victor », a déclaré Adrian Wojnarowski dans l’émission Pardon My Take<\/a>. « J’ai eu un GM, président d’une des équipes qui est très bien placée pour remporter un titre en ce moment, qui m’a dit il y a quelques semaines : « Nous ferions mieux de nous écarter rapidement du chemin. Nous ferions mieux de gagner rapidement. Parce qu’une fois que ce gamin aura quelqu’un autour de lui, il gagnera tout le temps ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Évidemment, le projet Spurs est encore sans calendrier bien précis même si certains postes sont à développer plus rapidement que d’autre à commencer par le poste de meneur.<\/p>

« Ils veulent améliorer le poste de meneur de jeu », a déclaré Wojnarowski. « Ils peuvent aller sur le marché des échanges et trouver un solide meneur de jeu vétéran qui pourra les épauler pendant quelques années. Ils ont tellement de choix. Peut-être qu’ils trouveront un meneur de jeu dans cette draft. [Rob] Dillingham du Kentucky ou Reed Sheppard. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Le nom de Trae Young revient régulièrement dans les conversations autour de la manière d’épauler Victor Wembanyama<\/strong><\/a> dans le futur. Reste donc à savoir la direction que prendra Gregg Popovich dans le futur proche.<\/p>
