A seulement 14 ans, Cavan Sullivan signe son premier contrat en MLS du côté du Philadelphia Union.<\/h2>

La MLS<\/a> peut se féliciter d’avoir les débuts du prodige philadelphien, Cavan Sullivan, lui qui a signé un contrat avec son équipe locale. Le jeune joueur de 14 ans va se développer en MLS à l’Union avant de faire cap sur l’Europe, lui qui rejoindra Manchester City en 2027, lorsqu’il aura l’âge requis.<\/p>

Sullivan devient le cinquième joueur le plus jeune à signer en MLS<\/a>, lui qui est âgé de 14 ans et 224 jours. Le record est détenu par Maximo Carrizo, lui qui a signé un contrat avec New York en 2022 le jour de ses 14 ans.<\/p>

Le jeune philadelphien partage son enthousiasme de pouvoir jouer pour l’équipe qu’il a toujours supporté.<\/p>

« D’aussi loin que je me souvienne, j’ai toujours regardé mon équipe locale, l’Union, et j’ai toujours espéré qu’un jour j’aurais la chance de jouer pour ma ville devant ma famille, mes amis et mes fans », a confié Sullivan.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Cavan Sullivan a rejoint le centre de formation de l’Union en 2020, et a l’occasion de jouer avec l’équipe senior dès cette saison.<\/p>

« Pouvoir jouer non seulement pour l’Union, mais aussi avec mon frère, c’est un rêve qui devient réalité. Je donnerai tout ce que j’ai à ce club et j’espère aider à ramener du matériel à la maison. Je suis reconnaissant de cette opportunité et j’espère que Philadelphie sera fier de moi. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Sullivan a l’occasion de rentrer une bonne fois pour toute dans l’histoire du sport américain, lui qui peut potentiellement devenir le plus jeune joueur à débuter un match dans une des grandes ligues américaines (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS et NWSL), avant le 29 juillet prochain.<\/p>
