Magic Johnson s’est exprimé sur le problème principal des Lakers face aux autres équipes à l’Ouest.<\/h2>

Magic Johnson est une légende de basketball, il a marqué l’histoire des Lakers et du sport en général. Encore très actif et impliqué pour Los Angeles, Magic est revenu sur ce qu’il pense être le problème principal des Lakers :<\/p>

« Lakers Nation, nous avons un problème. Toutes les bonnes équipes à l’Ouest sont jeunes et pleins de talent : les Nuggets, les Timberwolves, le Thunder, les Clippers et les Mavs. Mais alors plus que tout on peut penser aux Spurs qui avec Victor Wembanyama deviendront une équipe qui jouera en playoffs l’an prochain. Pour que les Lakers puissent rivaliser avec ces équipes, le roster DOIT s’améliorer. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

La déception des Lakers avec cette défaite au premier tour des Playoffs NBA est immense. Magic Johnson pointe du doigt un problème majeur pour Los Angeles : la difficulté de développer des jeunes talents. Les Lakers se reposent sur les performances de LeBron James et Anthony Davis mais ont besoin d’ajouter de la profondeur à leur équipe. D’autant plus que D’Angelo Russell n’a pas été en rendez-vous lors de ces playoffs.<\/p>

Les Lakers devraient pouvoir se tourner vers la Draft NBA 2024, si les Pelicans ne décident pas de l’utiliser, ils auront un choix au premier tour. Ils ont déjà expliqué qu’ils étaient ouverts à l’idée de sélectionner le fils de LeBron James, Bronny James.<\/a> Un joueur physique avec de belles capacités défensives.<\/p>

De plus, les Lakers vont être très actifs lors de l’intersaison. On parle déjà d’un fort intérêt pour le meneur des Hawks, Trae Young<\/a>. Ce dernier permettrait de compléter l’effectif des Lakers et de former un Big 3 solide.
