Après seulement 4 matchs, les Pelicans de la Nouvelle-Orléans de Brandon Ingram sont déjà éliminés des Playoffs NBA après s’être faits « sweeper » par le Thunder d’Oklahoma City.<\/h2>

Lors de cette défaite 97-89 comptant pour le Game 4 et, synonyme d’élimination des Playoffs, Brandon Ingram<\/strong><\/a> s’est montré décevant. En effet, l’ailier des Pelicans a inscrit seulement 8 points en 14 tentatives de tir. Ses décisions étaient parfois étonnantes, comme lorsqu’il a choisi de passer le ballon plutôt que de tirer, ce qui a conduit à une mauvaise possession de son équipe.<\/p>

Ingram lui-même a reconnu sa mauvaise performance, en déclarant<\/a> :<\/p>

« Je serai honnête, ce sont probablement les pires mois que j’ai eus en tant que joueur avec les Pelicans de la Nouvelle-Orléans ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Il a assumé la responsabilité de son jeu et s’est engagé à utiliser sa déception comme motivation pour s’améliorer.<\/p>

Pendant la saison régulière, Brandon Ingram a affiché des statistiques solides, mais une blessure au genou en mars a perturbé son jeu lors des matchs ultérieurs. En effet, cette blessure a eu un impact sur son retour sur les parquets et sur sa performance.<\/p>

Lors de cette série éliminatoire du premier tour de la conférence Ouest, Ingram a été confronté à des attentes élevées en raison de l’absence de son coéquipier Zion Williamson. Cependant, il n’a pas été à la hauteur, affichant des statistiques en dessous de la moyenne et contribuant faiblement à la performance offensive de son équipe.<\/p>

Brandon Ingram s’est exprimé sur son engagement à s’améliorer :<\/p>

« Je veux simplement être à l’aise dans l’inconfort. Je veux quelqu’un autour de moi qui me pousse ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Il s’est également exprimé sur son attachant à La Nouvelle-Orléans et à ses fans, en déclarant :<\/p>

« C’est l’endroit où j’ai décroché ma première sélection au All-Star Game. C’est l’endroit où on m’a laissé être moi-même. J’ai de bonnes relations avec tout le monde ici. J’ai beaucoup d’amour pour la ville de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Pour les fans. Ils n’ont fait que me traiter correctement. Il y a un travail inachevé ici.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Cependant, le joueur de 26 ans, à qui il reste un an de contrat, reste ouvert à toutes les possibilités concernant son avenir : « On ne sait jamais. Je vais prendre quelques semaines de congés et réfléchir sur ce qui est le mieux pour moi et ma famille ».<\/p>

L’intersaison des Pelicans de la Nouvelle-Orléans et de Brandon Ingram sera donc à suivre de très près cet été.<\/p>
