Comme on pouvait s’y attendre, les Edmonton Oilers montent en puissance et remportent une belle victoire à Los Angeles lors du Game 4 et mènent maintenant 3-1<\/h2>

Les trois derniers matchs entre les Oilers et les Kings ont cumulé un total de 27 buts, avec une moyenne de 9 buts par match. On s’attendait donc à voir, encore une fois, une rencontre prolifique avec des gardiens pas très inspirés.<\/p>

Et bien absolument pas. Un score final de 1-0 à l’avantage des Oilers, qui leur permet de mettre un sacré coup au moral des Kings. Pourtant, les joueurs de Los Angeles ont décoché 33 tirs sur la cage de Stuart Skinner,<\/a> véritable héros du côté des Oilers<\/a>.<\/p>

« Je pense que Skinner a été incroyable », a déclaré le défenseur d’Edmonton Mattias Ekholm<\/a>. « Je pense qu’il a montré qu’il avait fait des progrès en tant que gardien de but. Je pense qu’il est beaucoup plus calme. Sur le plan du positionnement, il est très solide en ce moment, et il faut vraiment faire un bon jeu pour le battre, ce qui est évidemment un grand sentiment pour nous, sachant qu’il est la colonne vertébrale de notre équipe.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Une belle prestation rendue par le gardien des Oilers, importante dans ce genre de confrontation.<\/p>

« C’est les séries éliminatoires », a déclaré l’attaquant d’Edmonton Corey Perry. « C’est le genre de match qu’il faut gagner. Ce ne sera pas 6-5, 7-4 tous les soirs. Il faut s’accrocher, jouer en défense et gagner, et nous avons trouvé le moyen de le faire ce soir.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Il ne faut pas non plus oublier la belle performance du gardien de Los Angeles, David Rittich<\/a>.<\/p>

« Je pense que Rittich a bien joué », a déclaré l’entraîneur intérimaire de Los Angeles, Jim Hiller. « Ce qui est décevant pour lui, c’est qu’aucun gardien de but ne peut gagner quand il ne peut pas marquer.
