Roger Goodell était l’invité du Pat McAfee Show et il a parlé de ce qu’il aimerait faire pour la NFL à l’avenir.<\/h2>

Le Pat McAfee Show a été un des événements du week-end. En effet l’ancien kicker des Colts et commentateur de WWE Raw a reçu pour la Draft, Bill Belichick qui a remporté six fois le Super Bowl avec les Patriots. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, il a aussi invité Roger Goodell, le président de la NFL.<\/p>

Ce dernier est revenu sur sa vision de la ligue à l’avenir. Tout d’abord, et c’est une tendance que l’on voit depuis un moment, Goodell veut plus de matchs par saison. En effet, il aimerait que la saison régulière de NFL compte 18 matchs. En 2021 la ligue avait étendu son nombre de matchs à 17. C’est sans surprise pour une NFL qui réalise des audiences exceptionnelles.<\/p>

De plus, Goodell a expliqué à McAfee qu’il aimerait que le Super Bowl doit déplacé à l’occasion du Presidents’ Day Weekend (qui se déroule à la fin du mois de février). Cela permettrait d’organiser un Super Bowl sur trois jours et d’avoir un jour férié le lundi. Ce qui ouvrirait la voie à un Super Bowl qui serait un vrai événement qui dure tout un weekend avec la possibilité d’étendre les festivités.<\/p>

Enfin, le président de la NFL a expliqué qu’il veut continuer de développer le rayonnement de la NFL à l’international. Même s’il a expliqué que voir une franchise en dehors du continent américain paraît compliqué à organiser, il veut disputer davantage de matchs dans le monde entier. Goodell a cité l’Espagne en tête de liste ainsi que le Brésil. Avec un objectif de 16 matchs disputés par an en dehors des Etats-Unis.<\/p>
