Chaque année, The Athletic publie les résultats d’un sondage anonyme auprès des joueurs NBA.<\/h2>

En tout ce sont 142 joueurs qui ont été interviewé sur des sujets divers<\/a> comme : Qui est MVP selon vous ? Quel joueur est le plus sur-côté ? Dans quelle salle préférez-vous jouer ? Sous couvert d’anonymat les réponses sont donc les plus honnêtes possibles même si les résultats peuvent étonner.<\/p>

Rudy Gobert sucôté et Wemby meilleur défenseur.<\/h3>

Habituellement, le nom de Trae Young arrive souvent en première position auprès des fans NBA (sauf ceux des Hawks) pour donner le nom d’un joueur sur-côté. Mais cette année, c’est bien notre français, Rudy Gobert qui se trouve au premier rang et assez loin devant avec 13.6% des vites, devant Jordan Poole à 8.6%.<\/p>

Pourtant, Rudy Gobert<\/strong><\/a> possède déjà 3 titres de défenseur de l’année et fait partie du Top 3 pour cette saison, le plaçant en position de remporter un quatrième titre. Pourtant parmi ses pairs, il ne fait pas l’unanimité.<\/p>

En revanche, Victor Wembanyama lui est vu comme le meilleur défenseur de la ligue (15.2%) mais aussi comme celui sur lequel construire une franchise de zéro, juste devant Nikola Jokic.<\/p>

Jokic MVP, Jordan est le GOAT et le Madison Square Garden<\/h3>

Parmi les autres question, celle du MVP était inévitable.<\/p>

La NBA cette année a dévoilé le Top 3 composé de Nikola Jokic, Shaï Gilgeous-Alexander et Luka Doncic. Dans le sondage de The Athletic, on retrouve ces trois là aussi au trois premières places avec le Joker en première position.<\/p>

Chez les fans, le débat du GOAT est presque sans fin. Chez les joueurs, il est aussi très partagé. Mais Michael Jordan reste encore le choix n°1 à 45.9% devant LeBron James à 42.1%. Kobe Bryant arrive en 3è position pour compléter le podium.<\/p>

Le Madison Square Garden est souvent le théâtre de performances exceptionnelles et ce n’est pas pour rien que c’est la salle préférée des joueurs. À l’inverse, la Little Ceasar Arena n’a guère les faveurs des joueurs interrogés.<\/p>
