Mais en ce 18 avril 2008, 28 des 30 propri&eacute;taires votent en faveur d&rsquo;un d&eacute;part de la franchise.<\/p><p>Deux an auparavant, la premi&egrave;re pierre de cette relocalisation avait &eacute;t&eacute; pos&eacute;e avec la vente par l&rsquo;ancien propri&eacute;taire Howard Schultz de la franchise &agrave; un groupe d&rsquo;investisseur venu d&rsquo;Oklahoma City. Un an plus tard, les nouveaux propri&eacute;taires avait lanc&eacute; l&rsquo;id&eacute;e d&rsquo;un d&eacute;part vers la ville natale de Clay Bennett alors nouveau propri&eacute;taire de l&rsquo;&eacute;quipe.<\/p><p>Mais deux voix s&rsquo;y opposeront jusqu&rsquo;au bout : celle de Mark Cuban, alors encore propri&eacute;taire des Mavericks, et celle du natif de Seattle, Paul Allen.<\/p><p>Mais rien n&rsquo;y fait : l&rsquo;&eacute;quipe va d&eacute;m&eacute;nager laissant toute une ville orpheline de sa franchise mythique de NBA. Mais cela n&rsquo;emp&ecirc;chera pas les fans de cultiver l&rsquo;espoir d&rsquo;un retour de leur franchise un jour au sein de la NBA.<\/p><h3>L&rsquo;espoir de l&rsquo;expansion<\/h3><p>Seattle n&rsquo;&eacute;tait pas d&eacute;pourvue de basket. Le Storm en WNBA avait combl&eacute; ce vide laiss&eacute; et de quelle mani&egrave;re avec de longues ann&eacute;es de succ&egrave;s sous l&rsquo;impulsion de Sue Bird. Mais voil&agrave;, l&rsquo;ombre des Sonics plane encore et toujours sur la ville.<\/p><p>Seattle est une ville de sport. L&rsquo;arriv&eacute;e r&eacute;cente du Kraken en NHL, coupl&eacute;e &agrave; la construction de la Climate Pledge Arena a relanc&eacute; in&eacute;vitablement le d&eacute;bat atour d&rsquo;un retour des Sonics en NBA. Et quand <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/fr\/nba-basketball\/nba-lexpansion-au-menu-apres-les-droits-tv\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Adam Silver &eacute;voque une expansion de la ligue<\/a>, il n&rsquo;en faut pas plus pour que le nom de Seattle soit sur toutes les l&egrave;vres.<\/p><p>Quand l&rsquo;expansion aura lieu, car oui elle aura lieue, Seattle sera invariablement &eacute;voqu&eacute;e, envisag&eacute;e pour un retour.
