Draft NFL – Alors que la draft NFL approche à très grands pas, la rédaction de TFA vous propose de faire le tour des besoins de chaque franchise. Aujourd’hui, place aux Texans.<\/h2>

Les Texans entrent dans cette draft NFL de 2024 en confiance, après une free agency très solide à Houston. La saison dernière, les Texans entraient dans la saison 2024 avec leur nouveau quarterback, C.J. Stroud, après une saison à seulement trois victoires. L’effet Stroud a été direct, avec une première place dans l’AFC South et une victoire en play-offs face aux Browns, avant de se faire éliminer au Divisional Round.<\/p>

Une grosse free agency<\/h3>

Les Texans<\/a> sont surement l’une des franchises ayant le mieux réussi sa free agency, avec notamment un gros renfort offensif. Houston bénéficie d’un nouveau running back, Joe Mixon, échangé contre un septième tour de draft aux Bengals. C.J. Stroud va avoir également une nouvelle cible pour lancer ses ballons, avec l’arrivée de Stefon Diggs, en provenance des Bills, ici aussi dans un trade.<\/p>

Défensivement, la free agency a également été bonne pour Houston, avec l’ajout du defensive end, Danielle Hunter, ainsi que du linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.<\/p>

Une draft moins importante<\/h3>

Cette saison, les Texans ne vont pas miser leur saison sur la draft NFL, après une free agency réussie. C’est la raison pour laquelle Houston a décidé de trade son choix de premier tour de la draft aux Vikings, offrant la possibilité aux Texans de miser plus tard sur la draft.<\/p>

Le plus gros manque de Houston à l’heure actuelle est un DT. Après le départ de Sheldon Rankins, les Texans devraient songer à drafter assez haut une defensive tackle.<\/p>

Cette draft est également l’occasion pour Houston de se concentrer sur le long terme au poste de cornerback. Derek Stingley Jr est la seule garantie sur le long terme pour la franchise texane, étant donné que le reste du corps sont sur des signatures d’un an.<\/p>

Pour finir, avec les derniers picks de cette draft, les Texans peuvent miser sur de la profondeur avec des possibilités de safety, running back, tight end, ou alors pour compléter cette ligne offensive.<\/p>
