NBA – La nouvelle concernant un retour de Joel Embiid sur les parquets NBA est tombée en ce lundi après midi et offre une vraie lueur d’espoir à tous les fans des Sixers.<\/h2>

Les 76ers de Philadelphie<\/a> ont reçu en ce début de semaine la meilleure des nouvelles, elle concerne le MVP en titre Joel Embiid.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Selon Adrian Wojnarowski<\/a> d’ESPN, Joel Embiid serait « sur le point de revenir et devrait jouer cette semaine<\/em>« .<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Les Sixers n’ont pas encore finalisé son statut pour le prochain match de mardi contre le Thunder d’Oklahoma City.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Une année à un niveau de MVP.<\/h3>

Cela a été une année difficile pour le pivot des Sixers, qui a raté intégralement les mois de février et mars en raison d’une blessure au ménisque subi le 30 Janvier contre les Warriors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Avant sa blessure, les Sixers affichaient un impressionnant bilan de 26 victoires pour 8 défaites quand Embiid jouait, et pour la saison, le joueur tournait à une moyenne de 35,3 points, 11,3 rebonds, 5,7 passes décisives, 1,8 bloc et 1,1 interception tout en tirant à 53,3 % de réussite globale et à 36,6 % longue distance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Ce genre de ligne statistique pouvait permettre à Joel Embiid d’ambitionner un deuxième trophée de MVP consécutif, même s’il n’est désormais plus éligible, car ne pouvant pas franchir le cap  des 65 matchs requis pour être éligible à ce prix.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

De retour à temps pour Philadelphia ?<\/h3>

Joel Embiid et les 76ers travaillent toujours pour finaliser sa date de retour, mais cela devrait se dérouler durant cette première semaine du mois d’Avril. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Le MVP en titre a réalisé plusieurs sessions d’entraînements à cinq contre cinq ces derniers jours, selon plusieurs sources de la ligue.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Il reste sept matchs aux 76ers en saison régulière, dont quatre cette semaine : dans la nuit de mardi à mercredi contre le Thunder à la maison, avant de se lancer dans un mini road trip à Miami, à Memphis et à San Antonio.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

L’entraîneur des 76ers, Nick Nurse, a déclaré la semaine dernière que l’équipe était optimiste quant au retour d’Embiid avant la fin de la saison régulière. Suffisant pour offrir aux Sixers une fin de saison plus exaltante ?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
