Jonathan Marchessault arrive en fin de contrat avec les Vegas Golden Knights.<\/h2>

La saison dernière, Jonathan Marchessault<\/a> et les Golden Knights<\/a> sont allé remporter leur première Coupe Stanley dans une campagne mémorable pour Vegas.<\/p>

Cette saison, les choses sont un petit peu plus compliquées pour Vegas, luttant actuellement pour les dernières places qualificatives de play-offs de la conférence Ouest. Cependant, Jonathan Marchessault est dans forme incroyable, lui qui a inscrit pas moins de 38 buts cette saison avec les Golden Knights, à seulement 5 buts du record de franchise de William Karlsson, établit lors de la saison 2017\/2018.<\/p>

Marchessault arrive à la fin de son contrat de six ans pour 30 millions de dollars avec les Golden Knights. Pat Brisson, agent du joueur québécois, a affirmé à The Associated Press<\/a><\/em> que les discussions avec la direction de Vegas est au ralenti. Il est même persuadé que l’affaire ne serait pas régler d’ici la fin de la saison.<\/p>

Si les discussions ne prennent pas forme d’ici la fin de la saison, les joueur vétéran de 33 ans sera l’un des joueurs les plus convoités de cette intersaison, commençant le 1er juillet.<\/p>

« Il est serein à attendre. Bien sûr, il aurait aimé que ça soit déjà réglé », a déclaré Brisson. « Il porte l’uniforme des Golden Knights depuis leurs débuts. Il aime jouer pour eux, il produit pour eux, il a remporté la Coupe Stanley et a été le récipiendaire du Conn-Smythe. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Brisson n’a pas dévoilé plus d’informations sur les exigences de son joueur par rapport à une prolongation<\/p>

« A ce moment dans la saison, nous voulons tous travailler ensemble pour nous qualifier en play-offs. Les discussions sur les contrats des joueurs ne sont pas des choses que nous allons commenter », a expliqué McCrimmon.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Un éventuel départ de Marchessault marquerait la fin d’une ère pour les deux partis.
