Arrivée avant le début de la saison à Milwaukee<\/a> via un trade, Damian Lillard<\/a> avoue avoir radicalement changer de mode de vie.<\/h2>

Alors qu’il jouait avec les Portland Trail Blazers depuis 11 ans en rêvant de remporter un titre avec cette équipe, Damian Lillard a donc déménagé à Milwaukee pour renforcer l’équipe des Bucks. Lors d’un entretien avec Chris Mannix, journaliste de Sport Illustrated, il lui confie ce qui a changé pour lui depuis son arrivée dans le Wisconsin.<\/p>

« Je vais à l’entraînement, je rentre chez moi, je regarde la boxe, je joue aux jeux vidéo. Je tape 100 fois FightHype sur YouTube et je prie pour qu’il y ait quelque chose de nouveau », a déclaré Lillard à Chris Mannix<\/a>. « Sérieusement, je n’ai pas beaucoup de vie. Mais c’est ce qui vient avec la décision d’un adulte. Il faut être prêt à faire face à cette situation et à la résoudre ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Ayant passé toute sa carrière NBA à Portland jusqu’à présent, Damian Lillard y a laissé tout l’entourage qu’il s’était construit là bas, ses meilleures amis, sa famille etc… Depuis qu’il est arrivé à Milwaukee, il se sent seul.<\/p>

« Je me sens vraiment seul parce que je suis un homme de famille. Ma vie, c’est ma famille. Après les matchs, je sortais et toute ma famille était là. Mes enfants sortaient de la salle de jeux. Ma mère, mon frère, mes cousins vivaient là, vous voyez ce que je veux dire ? Mes meilleurs amis vivent à Portland. Alors je sortais, nous allions dîner. Ils venaient parfois chez moi. Après l’entraînement, j’allais chez ma mère et je me détendais. C’est comme ça que je vivais. Donc, je veux dire, je vais bien parce que j’ai grandi. Mais je me sens vraiment seul. Je suis comblé par ces personnes ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Malgré cette transition difficile, il y a des objectifs sportifs à aller chercher comme notamment un titre avec Milwaukee alors que les Bucks ne sont que 3e de l’est depuis que Cleveland leur soit passé devant au classement.<\/p>
