Les Coyotes de l’Arizona sont actuellement sur une série de neuf défaites consécutives en NHL.<\/h2>

Après une nouvelle défaite, 4-3, face à l’Avalanche, les Coyotes<\/a> se retrouvent actuellement relégués à la septième place de la division centrale de la conférence Ouest, devançant seulement les Blackhawks de Chicago.<\/p>

Malgré cette série de presque un mois sans victoire, les Coyotes ne semble pas vouloir se séparer d’André Tourigny, l’entraîneur de la franchise. Bill Armstrong, directeur général de la franchise de l’Arizona, a confirmé que Tourigny était son homme de confiance à la tête de cette équipe.<\/p>

« Bien sûr qu’il l’est », a déclaré Armstrong. « C’est une question stupide. Je ne vais même plus y répondre. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Cette déclaration du directeur général de la franchise, remonte à avant le match face à l’Avalanche. Il est peu probable que celui-ci ait subitement changé d’avis en un seul match joué.<\/p>

Le début de la série de défaite des Coyotes a marqué la fin d’un début de saison encourageant pour Arizona, affichant un bilan de 23-19-3 avant le début de celle-ci.<\/p>

« Nous sommes toujours en progression comme organisation », a ajouté Armstrong<\/a>. « C’est le genre de séquence qu’il faut vivre pour avancer. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Avec 10 points de retard sur les Saint Louis Blues, tout est encore possible pour les Coyotes avec encore beaucoup de matchs à joué pour une qualification en play-offs de la Coupe Stanley.<\/p>

Les Coyotes tenteront de stopper leur série de défaites dès ce soir, à 22h, face aux redoutables Oilers d’Edmonton.<\/p>
