NHL – Les Maple Leafs de Toronto ont exécuté un changement notable dans leur équipe, rappelant le défenseur Marshall Rifai des Marlies de Toronto de la AHL et réaffectant le gardien de but Dennis Hildeby en AHL.<\/h2>

Marshall Rifai, âgé de 25 ans, s’engage dans un moment potentiellement décisif de sa carrière de hockey professionnel avec son deuxième rappel en NHL.<\/p>

Malgré un bref rappel plus tôt cette saison qui n’a pas résulté en temps de jeu en NHL, Marshall Rifai<\/strong><\/a> a aura donc une deuxième essai pour faire ses preuves et se faire une place dans l’effectif pour la fin de saison.<\/p>

Jouant 34 matchs pour les Marlies cette saison, il a contribué 11 points et accumulé 48 minutes de pénalité, le quatrième plus élevé de l’équipe.<\/p>

Après trois ans de hockey universitaire et une première saison AHL où il a enregistré 16 points et mené avec 118 minutes de pénalité sur 69 matchs, Rifai a démontré la ténacité et la compétitivité nécessaires au niveau professionnel.<\/p>

En contraste, la décision de renvoyer Dennis Hildeby<\/strong><\/a> en AHL intervient à un moment où les Marlies naviguent à travers une phase difficile, ayant été surpassés 19 à 26 dans leurs six derniers matchs. Hildeby, un gardien de but de 22 ans, n’a pas encore débuté en NHL malgré avoir été inscrit avec les Leafs pour un total de 16 jours cette saison. En AHL, il a été une pierre angulaire pour les Marlies, sécurisant 12 victoires et un pourcentage d’arrêts de .913 sur 24 matchs, démontrant une fiabilité que l’équipe a actuellement besoin pour recalibrer et avancer.<\/p>
