Lors du concours de dunk d’hier soir, Jaylen Brown<\/a> a voulu rendre hommage à Terrance Clarke, phénomène du basket-ball décédé en 2021 à l’âge de 19 ans dans un accident de voiture.<\/h2>

Clarke est né à Boston<\/a> et a joué au basket-ball dans le sud de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. Pendant cette période et au cours de sa seule année à l’université du Kentucky, Clarke a noué une solide amitié avec Jaylen Brown, qui s’est transformée en une relation dépassant le cadre du basket-ball.<\/p>

Et hier soir, lors du concours de dunk auquel Jaylen Brown participait, il lui a de nouveau rendu hommage en portant son maillot lors d’une de ses tentatives de dunk.<\/p>

« Nous croyons vraiment que si nous continuons à prononcer son nom et à nous souvenir de lui, cette énergie sera toujours présente. Terrence n’est plus parmi nous aujourd’hui, mais tant que je serai là, une partie de lui vivra avec moi et une partie de lui vivra en chacun de nous. Je vais donc continuer à le célébrer, lui et sa famille, pour nous avoir donné Terrence, parce que c’était un enfant formidable, vraiment. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Jaylen Brown s’est toujours efforcé de célébrer Clarke depuis son décès en avril 2021. Par exemple il a baptisé un terrain en l’honneur de Clarke dans un centre communautaire de Roxbury, au Massachusetts.<\/p>

Dernièrement Jaylen Brown a créé avec sa marque 7uice un T-Shirt Terrance Clarke en édition limitée, en collaboration avec la famille et la fondation de Clarke. Camille, interviewé par CelticsWire<\/a>, ami de longue date de Clarke et qui travaille avec l’équipe de 7uice pour promouvoir l’héritage et la vision de Clarke :<\/p>

« Jaylen n’en démord pas. Il était logique de sortir quelque chose de spécial. Terrance vit à travers tout le monde. Il a eu un impact positif sur tout le monde. C’est la raison d’être de 7uice : diffuser de l’énergie positive ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

Pour Quinton Brown, directeur marketing de 7uice et frère aîné de Jaylen Brown, Clarke et son héritage feront toujours partie du tissu de 7uice et de la ville :<\/p>

« Terrance faisait partie de l’équipe originale de 7uice. Il a apporté une énergie positive à Boston. Après sa mort, notre objectif philanthropique est de rendre la pareille à sa mère, à son frère et à sa sœur.
