Les Boston Celtics ne semblent pas avoir oublié ce qu’il s’est passé l’an dernier en finale de conférence lorsqu’après avoir été mené 3-0, ils étaient revenus à 3-3 avant de s’effondrer lors du match 7 décisif. La nuit dernière, les Celtics se sont avec la manière (110-143), à Miami cette fois, après les avoir déjà battus cette saison. <\/strong><\/h2>

Cette équipe des Celtics semble être un brin rancunière. Ces matchs contre le Heat avaient été des dates entourées dans le calendrier de Boston tant la blessure en Mai dernier fut douloureuse et reste vive. Le leader de cette équipe, Jayson Tatum, avouait même après la rencontre que cet épisode est toujours en tête des hommes en verts, « on a juste appris de ce qu’il s’est passé la saison dernière, être si proche du but mais ne pas être capable de franchir cette dernière étape ».<\/p>

Les Celtics avaient besoin de marquer au fer rouge cette confrontation contre le Heat<\/a>. Avec 143 points marqués dans le sud de la Floride, c’est un record historique pour Boston qui n’en avait jamais marqué autant à Miami. De plus, cet impressionnant écart de 33 points est une première depuis 172 rencontre face à Miami. Un non-match total.<\/p>

Spoelstra et les siens étaient un peu sous le choc, « nous avons affronté une attaque très puissante et qu’il l’est depuis plusieurs semaines maintenant » soufflait le coach en chef du Heat après la rencontre. Pour preuve, ce n’est que la quatrième fois dans l’histoire du Miami Heat (playoffs compris) qu’ils ont encaissés autant de points après les trois premiers quarts-temps (113).<\/p>

5 joueurs côté Celtics ont atteint la barre des 15 points la nuit dernière, Jayson Tatum en tête parmi eux avec 26 points<\/a>. Malgré ça, Joe Mazzula, entraîneur de cette équipe se voulait prudent après cette prestation plus qu’aboutie, « ce match était très bon mais il ne veut rien dire du tout […] si on n’applique pas les leçons qu’on apprend au prochain match […]. Donc on va en profiter jusqu’à ce qu’on arrive dans l’avion et puis ensuite on se focalisera sur le prochain (match) » analysait-il face aux journalistes.<\/p>

Seul ombre au tableau de la soirée pour Boston, la blessure de Porzingis à la cheville gauche alors qu’il avait inscrit 19 points.<\/p>

Le Heat lui, continue sa très mauvaise passe avec un cinquième revers de rang, pire série depuis Mars 2021, et sort du top 6 avec cette défaite. Spoelstra concluait hier l’analyse de cette opposition en évoquant « une soirée qui vous rend humble, assurément. Ils nous ont remis à notre place ce soir ».<\/p>

Les Celtics eux continuent de trôner en tête de la NBA grâce à un bilan de 35 victoires pour 10 défaites. Prochain rendez-vous samedi soir dans un choc explosif face aux Clippers (8 victoires sur les 10 derniers matchs, 4ème<\/sup> à l’Ouest) au TD Garden.<\/p>
