Le joueur espagnol Ricky Rubio et la franchise des Cleveland Cavaliers se sont mis d’accord pour mettre fin au contrat de celui-ci.<\/h2>

Le meneur Ricky Rubio s’était éloigné de la franchise de Cleveland<\/a> pour assurer sa santé mentale ce qui a amené les deux partis à mettre fin à leur collaboration. Les Cavaliers ont donc du payer les saisons 2023-2024 ainsi que 2024-2025 afin de libérer Rubio.<\/p>

Cette fin de parcours aux Cavaliers marque la fin de l’aventure NBA pour Ricky Rubio. L’espagnol pourrait rejouer au basket, mais cette fois-ci là où tout a commencé, en Espagne.<\/p>

Cette exil du monde du basket remonte à l’été dernier pour le joueur espagnol. Les Cavaliers ont donc pris la décision, récemment, de libérer une place dans l’effectif vu que Ricky Rubio ne prévoyait pas de revenir, selon ESPN<\/a>.<\/p>

Rubio a manqué la majeur partie des deux dernières saisons, lui qui se remettait d’une déchirure du ligament croisé antérieur pour la deuxième fois de sa carrière.<\/p>

Lors de la saison 2022-2023, Ricky Rubio a joué un total de 33 matchs pour une moyenne de 5.2 points et 3.5 passes décisives.<\/p>

Ricky Rubio est devenu, lors de sa jeune carrière, le plus jeune de l’histoire à rentrer dans la prestigieuse ligue espagnole de basket, à seulement 14 ans. Il a ensuite été drafté en cinquième position par les Timberwolves lors de la draft de 2009. Durant sa carrière aux Etats-Unis, l’espagnol est notamment passé par les Minnesota Timberwolves, le Utah Jazz, les Phoenix Suns ainsi que les Cleveland Cavaliers.<\/p>

Durant sa carrière en NBA, il a moyenné à 10.8 points ainsi 7.4 passes décisives. Il bénéficiait également d’une réputation d’être le coéquipier préféré de nombreux, incluant Donovan Mitchell et Kevin Love.<\/p>
