Ja Morant faisait son retour hier soir<\/a> dans son équipe, suite à sa suspension de 25 matchs par la NBA. Et il retrouvait une équipe de Memphis qui, on peut le dire, n’a pas réussi son début de saison sans lui (6-19, 13ième à l’Ouest, loin de ses ambitions de playoff).<\/p>Le retour de l’enfant prodige s’est déroulé à l’extérieur, dans la salle des Pelicans, au Smoothie King Center de la Nouvelle Orleans. Et nous n’étions pas loin du compte de fée pour Morant et les Grizzlies. Dans un match âpre, disputé, ce sont les Grizz qui ont fait le 1er écart grâce à un second quart temps maitrisé (39\/16), 60\/41 à la mi-temps, + 19. Mais les Grizz ce sont révoltés et ont sorti les griffes en 2ième mi-temps. Ils ont recollé au score, avant que Ja Morant ne prenne un rebond à 113 partout, 9 secondes à jouer. Après le temps mort, c’est le meneur qui s’est retrouvé en possession de la balle, qui a drivé, et qui a mis le shoot de la gagne au buzzer, après visionnage vidéo.<\/p>
Pour son retour au jeu, Morant finit donc avec le rebond et le shoot de la gagne, mais aussi 34 points, 6 rebonds et 8 passes, 3 interceptions, 1 contre en 34’46. Jaren Jackson Jr. (24\/6) et Desmond Bane (21\/1\/4) ont également bien contribué au scoring.<\/p>
Coté Pelicans, c’est une défaite qui pique. Malgré la nette avance, il n’ont pas su gérer leur fin de match. Valanciunas (22\/14 à 75%) et McCollum (18\/3\/6 à 55%) ont bien tenté d’épauler le leader offensif actuel de l’équipe, Ingram (34\/4\/6 à 61%). Insuffisant cependant pour l’emporter.<\/p>

Pas de duel Wemby\/Giannis<\/h3>
On attendait ce duel avec impatience. Il va falloir attendre un peu plus. Wemby qui se frotte à un des meilleur poste 4 de la league, très dominant… Mais suite à un problème à la cheville droite, le n°1 de la dernière draft a été préservé par sa franchise, pour la 2ieme fois de la saison. Les Bucks en ont profiter pour assurer une nette victoire contre les Spurs, 132\/119. Giannis n’a pas été en grande réussite au scoring, mais termine avec un gros triple double (11\/14\/16 à 33%). Lillard s’est occupé de marquer des points, 40 exactement, très bien épaulé par Portis en sortie de banc (23\/10).<\/p>
A San Antonio, 6 joueurs finissent avec 10 points ou plus, dont Johnson (28\/12) et Collins (22\/8). Malgré une réussite au tir similaire entre les deux équipes (47,9% pour les Spurs, 47.2 pour les Bucks), ce sont les balles perdues qui ont coutées très cher : 16 contre 6.<\/p>

Dans l’affiche de la nuit, ce sont bien les Warriors qui l’ont emporté sur les Celtics à San Franscisco. Chaque équipe a eu ses périodes : Les C’s ont débuté tambour batant avec 40 points inscrit dans le 1er quart (40-30). Les Warriors ont répondu (32-25 dans le 2nd quart), puis les Celtics ont remis la marche avant (32 -24), avant que les Warriors ne recollent par Curry à 1’36 de la fin de match (121-121). Plus rien ne sera marqué durant cette dernière minute et demi, place à la prolongation. Et Curry en a profiter pour marquer les 7 derniers points de son équipe.<\/p>
Au final, le meneur termine le match avec de belles stats (33\/3\/6 à 52%, 6\/11 à 3 points). CP3 à joué son rôle de superSub (9\/7\/12), Thompson (24\/4\/4) et Kuminga (17\/7\/2) ont été bien présents. Cette équipe des Warriors semble retrouver un peu de collectif, de jeu, et de mordant, tout cela alors que l’absence de Draymon Green ne se fait pas tant sentir que ca.<\/p>
Les Celtics repartent donc de la baie avec une defaite, malgré White qui termine meilleur scoreur des siens (30\/7\/3, 7\/18 à 3 points) et Brown (28\/8\/7). Tatum est passé à coté de son match niveau adresse (15\/8\/7 à 29%), tout comme Horford (13\/12\/6). Porzingis était absent.<\/p>

6 défaites d’affilées, alors que l’équipe s’apprêtait à défier les Suns de Phoénix… Pas grand monde ne voyait Portland l’emporter. D’autant plus après le 1er quart temps remporté largement 36\/20 par la franchise de l’Arizona. Mais les Blazers sont revenus, sous l’impact de Simons (23\/3\/7), Grant (22) et Ayton (16\/15). Le duel du pivot, échangé lors de l’intersaison, était attendu. Si Nurkic a pris le dessus lors du 1er quart, Ayton a renversé la vapeur au fil du match, et malgré une adresse faible (6\/18 à 33%), il a permis au siens de s’imposer.<\/p>
Pourtant, Durant (40\/4\/ à 57%) et Booker (26\/3\/7) ont tout tenté. Ils sont même revenus très près en fin de match (3 points). Mais Simons les a crucifié à 11 secondes de la fin (+5 Blazers). Les Suns passent 10ième a l’Ouest, avec un bilan tout juste positif (14-13)<\/a>.<\/p> <\/p>
