Les Reds et Nick Martinez ont trouvé un accord durant cette free agency de MLB.<\/h2>

Nick Martinez et les Reds<\/a> ont trouvé un accord de deux années pour 26 millions de dollars. L’arrivée du lanceur n’a pas encore été annoncée du côté de Cincinnati probablement avec l’examen médical en cours.<\/p>

Le joueur de 33 ans s’est retrouvé agent libre après avoir passé deux saisons du côté de San Diego avec les Padres. Lors de la saison 2023, le lanceur droitier était à 6-4 avec une ERA de 3.43 en 63 apparitions, le plus haut de sa carrière.<\/p>

Lors de ses neufs titularisations la saison dernière, Nick Martinez a obtenu une ERA de 2.32. Le lanceur devrait avoir un rôle de rotation au sein du jeune effectif des Reds.. Il pourrait également jouer le rôle d’un remplaçant si les circonstances venaient à changer chez les Reds.<\/p>

Pour le moment, les titulaires à ce poste du côté des Reds sont Hunter Greene, Nick Lodolo, Connor Phillips ainsi que Brandon Williamson. Nick Martinez aura le rôle d’un vétéran au sein de ce jeune effectif, étant donné qu’aucun de ces joueurs n’a plus de deux ans d’expérience au sein de la MLB<\/a>.<\/p>
