NBA – Le propriétaire iconique des Dallas Mavericks est sur le point de vendre une part majoritaire de la franchise à la famille Adelson pour un montant de 3.5 milliards de dollars.<\/h2>

Mark Cuban, une figure synonyme des Mavericks depuis son acquisition de la majorité des parts en 2000 pour un montant de 285 millions de dollars, devrait conserver sa position de gouverneur de la franchise. Cela assure la continuité dans la direction stratégique de l’équipe, en particulier dans les opérations de basketball.<\/p>

Le mandat de Cuban a été marqué par un titre en 2011 avec Dirk Nowitzki à la barre.<\/p>

L’Influence des Adelson <\/span><\/p>

La potentielle implication de la famille Adelson, en particulier du Dr. Miriam Adelson, veuve du magnat des casinos Sheldon Adelson, et de la Miriam Adelson Trust, dans la propriété des Mavericks, ouvre de nouvelles voies pour la franchise.<\/p>

La décision de la famille de vendre près de 2 milliards de dollars d’actions de la Las Vegas Sands Corp. pour financer cette entreprise souligne leur intention sérieuse et leur engagement financier.<\/p>

Cette acquisition pourrait voir la famille Adelson posséder plus de 57% des Mavericks, basée sur la valorisation actuelle. La NBA doit encore voter pour approuver la vente des parts de Mark Cuban et ce processus pourrait prendre plusieurs semaines avant d’être entériné.<\/p>

Lors de discussions antérieure, la famille Adelson avait envisagé la construction d’un quartier de casino dans un district de Dallas qui aurait inclu une nouvelle arène pour les Dallas Mavericks. Le seul soucis réside dans le caractère illégal des jeux d’argent dans l’état du Texas.<\/p>
