MLB – Le directeur général des Yankees de New York, Brian Cashman, a ouvertement évoqué la tension qui couvait entre lui et le joueur vedette Giancarlo Stanton.<\/h2>

Cette situation a attiré l’attention des médias à la suite des remarques de Cashman sur les blessures de Giancarlo Stanton lors des réunions des directeurs généraux. Les commentaires, qui ont refait surface plus tôt cette semaine, ont attiré non seulement l’attention des médias mais aussi l’attention de Joel Wolfe, l’agent de Stanton et représentant de Yoshinobu Yamamoto, une étoile montante du pitching japonais.<\/p>

Cashman, lors de sa participation annuelle au Covenant House Sleep Out, un événement visant à sensibiliser la population aux sans-abri, a affronté ces problèmes de front. Son engagement en faveur d’une communication transparente était évident puisqu’il a admis avoir été surpris par la tournure médiatique donnée à ses déclarations initiales.<\/p>

« J’ai l’impression que les choses sont devenues incontrôlables », a noté Cashman<\/a>, soulignant sa relation de longue date avec Wolfe et ses conversations directes avec Stanton pour clarifier sa position.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Brian Cashman voit aussi dans une « réconciliation » avec Wolfe, son maintient dans les potentielles négociations pour faire venir le talentueux Yamamoto.<\/p>

Performance de Stanton et perspectives d’avenir<\/h3>

Malgré la controverse, la position de Cashman sur la valeur de Stanton pour l’équipe reste inébranlable. Reconnaissant la saison difficile de Stanton, au cours de laquelle il a raté 61 matchs en raison d’une tension aux ischio-jambiers et a enregistré la pire performance statistique de sa carrière, Cashman reste ferme dans sa confiance dans les capacités de Stanton.<\/p>

Il a souligné le parcours impressionnant de Stanton en séries éliminatoires et sa résilience dans l’environnement sous haute pression de New York.<\/p>

« C’est un joueur doué et talentueux et un frappeur redouté », a déclaré Cashman, soulignant l’importance de Stanton dans le succès de l’équipe.<\/p><\/blockquote>
