Paris Sportifs – On se l’avoue, l’affiche de cette nuit n’est pas réellement celle que l’on pouvait espérer.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h2>

En effet, Chicago (2-7) accueille les Panthers (1-7).  Avec une victoire en week 8, on pouvait penser que Carolina allait lancer sa saison, mais rien de tout ça. Et oui, dimanche dernier, les Panthers se sont inclinés 13-27 à cause d’un pick six lancé par Bryce Young à 10-20. <\/span><\/p>

L’attaque des Bears guidée par Tyson Bagent en l’absence de Justin Fields a elle aussi du mal. Après un premier gros match dans lequel Bagent et son équipe inscrivent 30 points, ils en ont marqué 30 mais en deux rencontres…<\/span><\/p>

La cible préférée du quarterback des Bears n’est autre que Cole Kmet. Celui-ci lui rend la tâche plus facile avec 6 réceptions dans le dernier match dont 2 touchdowns. Le plus impressionnant, c’est dans le match encore avant, où Kmet sortira avec 10 réceptions pour 10 targets, DJ Moore, lui, n’aura eu que 4 réceptions. Le matchup à la course semble être idéal pour Chicago. Durant la semaine nous avions beaucoup d’incertitudes sur la présence de Khalil Herbert au poste de running back. Cependant dans la journée, Tom Pelissero a indiqué que ce dernier ne devrait pas jouer ce soir, et ne sortirait d’IR que pour la week 11. <\/span><\/p>

C’est donc D’Onta Foreman qui devrait prendre la majorité des portés. Revenge game pour lui qui a joué la saison dernière aux Panthers, sa meilleure saison en termes de TD marqués à la course (5). Carolina est la 28ème défense de la ligue en yards concédés au sol avec une moyenne de 131 yards à chaque match. Pire encore, on a affaire à la pire défense en touchdowns encaissés par des runnings back (15 en 8 matchs). <\/span><\/p>

La défense au sol de Chicago est l’exacte inverse. En effet, il s’agit de la 4ème défense concédant le moins de terrain face aux jeux au sol. Par contre, c’est dans les airs que c’est beaucoup plus dur pour eux, avec une moyenne de 256 yards pris par match à la passe. <\/span><\/p>

Bryce Young devrait s’appuyer sur son receveur favori, Adam Thielen. Ce dernier fait une excellente saison pour le moment malgré le bilan de sa franchise. Il est auteur de 4 touchdowns pour 610 yards en 8 matchs. Son nombre de yards engrangés est plus du double que ceux du second receveur de l’équipe, DJ Chark. <\/span><\/p>

Thielen devrait être encore plus recherché ce soir qu’habituellement si la situation reste ainsi, étant donné que DJ Chark est pour le moment doubtful, il ne devrait donc pas jouer ce match. En plus de tout ça, Thielen nous intéresse particulièrement car il sera couvert majoritairement par Kyler Gordon. Le cornerback offre un passing rating de 115 aux quarterbacks qui visent dans sa direction. Gordon concède 84% des passes qu’il défend, il reste dans ses mauvais standards de l’année précédente où il finit la saison avec 81%. <\/span><\/p>

D’autant plus que depuis le début de la saison, Adam Thielen<\/strong><\/a> est visé sur 61% des ballons dans les 20 derniers yards adverses. <\/span><\/p>
