NBA – Les San Antonio Spurs ont toujours été reconnus pour leur sens aigu de la détection des talents et, si l’on en croit les récentes remarques de Kevin Garnett, ils viennent peut-être de toucher le jackpot une fois de plus.<\/h2>

Victor Wembanyama suscite des comparaisons avec certains des plus grands joueurs de tous les temps.<\/p>

Garnett, ancien MVP et champion, a exprimé son admiration pour les premières performances de Wembanyama.<\/p>

Le développement au-delà du physique<\/h3>

Garnett estime que l’évolution de Wembanyama depuis son arrivée en NBA est significative.<\/p>

« Vous pouvez voir son évolution, combien il a grandi en un été. Il a l’air non seulement plus fort, mais aussi plus intelligent ».<\/p><\/blockquote>

C’est la croissance mentale et intellectuelle, le QI basket, qui sépare souvent les bons joueurs des plus grands.<\/p>

Le système de développement des Spurs, qui a déjà transformé des talents bruts en professionnels chevronnés, est à nouveau sous les feux de la rampe.<\/p>

« Maintenant, il s’agit de son QI et de son éducation. Nous savons à quoi il ressemble dans une autre ligue, et il est différent grâce aux connaissances qu’il acquiert à San Antonio », a déclaré Garnett.<\/p><\/blockquote>

L’allusion à l’agilité de Victor Wembanyama malgré sa taille, en le comparant à d’anciens big men tels que Yao Ming et Shaquille O’Neal, connus pour leur présence plus terre à terre, montre le créneau unique que Victor pourrait se tailler en NBA.<\/p>

« Je veux voir Wemby dans une compétition de salsa, voir sa bachata. Il est léger sur ses pieds », a plaisanté Garnett, soulignant l’agilité du rookie<\/p><\/blockquote>
