Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is expected to start<\/a> Saturday’s game against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium, according to head coach Andy Reid. Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain<\/a> during last week’s 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns but has shown significant progress in practice.<\/p>

Mahomes was a full participant in practices throughout the week, with Reid confirming his readiness. “He did look good out there,”<\/em> Reid said. <\/p>

“He moved around pretty good. So, you’re always looking to make sure they can get out the way, not to further any harm to them. I’ve been through it with him before, and he amazed me every time he does it.”<\/em><\/p>

#Chiefs<\/a> coach Andy Reid tells reporters that after a full week of practice for QB Patrick Mahomes, “We'll most likely end up playing him.” Mahomes has a high-ankle sprain.
