First up, the Disney-owned sports media company acquired the NFL Network and other assets from the NFL, after offering a 10% stake to football&rsquo;s top league.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Now comes the news that ESPN has struck a five-year deal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/wwe\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>WWE<\/a> in which two night events, including WrestleMania and SummerSlam, as well as other premium live events like the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and others, will be making their way to ESPN platforms. WWE will be in charge of all events, and the deal is set to start in 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>The massive deal will reportedly see the WWE pocket a handsome amount worth an average of $325 million per year for the next 5 years.
