The team&rsquo;s rapid progress in 2024 helped them snatch the constructor&rsquo;s title away from Red Bull Racing. This season, McLaren are dominantly leading the constructor and driver championships with their superior pace. Their drivers are 1-2 in the driver&rsquo;s championship. Both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are battling it out for the 2025 title.<\/p><p>Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have come a long way together. They are going toe to toe every weekend even after the championship has reached its halfway stage. The team is still a long way from preferring one driver over another in the championship. The driver duo has been incredibly well behaved. Oscar has a slight edge over Lando Norris while performing better throughout every weekend in the championship. Here&rsquo;s what the McLaren chief Zak Brown thinks about the championship rivalry between in their drivers.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">McLaren is Ready for a Two-Way Title Fight Between Their Drivers<\/h2><p>The Papaya team has made it clear that they won&rsquo;t prioritise one driver over another in 2025. McLaren has previously been a witness to some famous driver rivalries in their team. These include the likes of Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna and later on, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. I think Oscar was a little disappointed with qualifying in Belgium. Lando was very happy. I&rsquo;m sure he&rsquo;ll be a little bummed that he didn&rsquo;t win today, but it&rsquo;s coming off of two wins. And what&rsquo;s impressive is how aggressive he is, and yet he always brings the car home. That&rsquo;s quite a talent.&rdquo;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote><p>Zak Brown is incredibly impressed with Oscar&rsquo;s ability to control his aggression during a race. The Aussie has hardly made any mistakes this season. He is also fairly calm and composed during a race. He was only seen angry during one weekend. Other than that, Oscar Piastri has been a model driver.<\/p><p>Piastri is currently among the favourites for winning the championship title. Both McLaren drivers are safely ahead of Max Verstappen. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports. The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel.
