Doncic is undergoing training in Croatia with trainer Anze Machek.<\/p><p>It is no secret that the 26-year-old hasn&rsquo;t been in shape for quite some time. Nico Harrison&rsquo;s growing frustration with Doncic eventually played a part in the guard&rsquo;s exit from Dallas. Mavericks management reportedly &lsquo;had enough&rsquo; with Doncic&rsquo;s lack of fitness.<\/p><p>Men&rsquo;s Health reported concerns about Doncic&rsquo;s growing dependence on beer and hookah during his final Mavericks months. Despite several warnings, the guard didn&rsquo;t cave which resulted in his Lakers move early this year. If anything, the examples of Nikola Jokic, Shaquille O&rsquo;Neal, Patrick Mahomes suggest otherwise. But having your body shape according to your natural game helps in the journey.<\/p><p>For Jokic, having that kind of mass alleviates his game. And for Shaquille O&rsquo;Neal, that massive body weight helped him dominate in the paint, shrugging off athletic defenders with ease. However, with Luka Doncic, having a lean body would help his natural game. Driving inside, quick reflexes, and defensive hustle are all expected to improve with his slimmer frame.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mavericks Fallout Triggers New Routine<\/h2><p>Luka Doncic himself described that he&rsquo;s never felt better with his body. &ldquo;<em>My whole body looks better. This summer was just a little bit different, you know. He was publicly called out for his lack of fitness and that has motivated him resulting in a complete physical transformation.<\/p><p>Luka Doncic is currently on a gluten-free, low sugar diet.
