The 27-year-old is keen on securing his long-term future and is looking for clarity from Barça amid growing interest.<\/p>

Rashford, who endured a turbulent 2024\/25 season and finished the campaign on loan at Aston Villa, is not in new United boss Ruben Amorim’s plans. The manager has reportedly allowed Rashford extra time this summer to secure a move away from Old Trafford. Despite this, the England international returned to Carrington for training earlier this week as no deal has yet materialised.<\/p>

Barcelona have been closely monitoring Rashford’s situation and remain interested. <\/strong><\/p>

But the deal is complicated by the club’s financial situation and ongoing talks with Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, who is also open to a move. However, Diaz’s reluctance to force his way out of Anfield may give Rashford an edge in negotiations with the Catalan club.<\/p>

Spanish media suggest Rashford<\/a> is requesting key guarantees from Barcelona before committing to the move. These include regular game time, a defined role under new manager Hansi Flick, and clarity on the club’s sporting project as they look to bounce back from a difficult campaign. Rashford wants to ensure he is not merely a short-term solution or backup option, especially given the club’s interest in other wingers.<\/p>

Manchester United, for their part, are open to letting Rashford leave and have placed a £43 million price tag on the forward. With three years left on his contract, they are pushing for a permanent transfer rather than another loan deal. Amorim’s intention to reshape the squad means offloading players who do not fit his tactical vision is a priority.<\/p>

With Barcelona deliberating and other European clubs exploring options, Rashford’s future remains uncertain — but the player is clearly focused on ensuring his next move is the right one, both professionally and personally.<\/p>
