Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as the Serie A giants look to reshape their attacking line ahead of the 2025\/26 season. However, the deal is contingent on two major developments: Osimhen giving the green light to the move and the sale of current striker Dušan Vlahović.<\/p>

The Bianconeri are eager to bring Osimhen to Turin as the centerpiece of their new-look frontline. The Nigerian striker has been a long-term target and is viewed as a player who could spearhead the club’s ambition to return to the top of Italian and European football. However, Juventus must first offload Vlahović, who has refused to extend his contract and is now on the market. The club is aiming to recoup around €40 million (£34m\/$46m) for the Serbian forward.<\/p>

Osimhen’s relationship with Napoli deteriorated last season, making a transfer increasingly likely. Napoli are reportedly ready to part ways with their star forward and have already identified Darwin Núñez as a potential replacement. The Uruguayan, currently at Liverpool, is also attracting interest from Saudi Arabia and Napoli are hoping to move quickly should Victor Osimhen depart.<\/p>

A key complication in Juventus’ chase lies in Victor Osimhen’s release clause. The €75 million (£63m\/$86m) clause is valid only for clubs outside of Italy, meaning Juventus would need to negotiate a separate fee with Napoli. As a result, obtaining the player’s approval before approaching Napoli is seen as essential in helping smooth the negotiations.<\/p>

Alongside Osimhen, Juventus are also working on securing a deal for Jonathan David. The Canadian international is available as a free agent this summer and is viewed as a cost-effective addition to complement the attacking revamp. If both Osimhen and David arrive, Juve’s frontline would gain considerable firepower.<\/p>

The next few weeks will be crucial, as Juventus await Osimhen’s <\/a>decision and begin actively working to move Vlahović. Should everything align, the Turin-based club could complete one of the biggest striker shake-ups of the summer transfer window.<\/p>
