After all, the teen sensation is already an Orange Bowl Junior Championships winner and a two-time doubles runner-up at the junior Grand Slam level. Now, she is set to face former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez at the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/theplayoffs.news\/en\/tennis\/\" class=\"trk-cta-link\" data-cta-trk='{\"ctaType\":\"Link\",\"ctaSubType\":\"main\"}'>Wimbledon Championships<\/a>.<\/p><p>A local London resident, Klugman stays a walking distance away from the All England Club. While her main draw debut at the major level will be a monumental challenge, she has the experience of playing her Canadian opponent. &ldquo;I hit with her [Fernandez] a while back, so I know how she plays. She likes to stay close to the baseline and take it early which is good for the grass. Let&rsquo;s take a small glimpse into her early life and her tennis career.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hannah Klugman &ndash; London&rsquo;s Very Own<\/h2><p>Born in Kingston-Upon-Thames and raised in Wimbledon, Klugman will be one of three British wild cards at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. The World No. 573 began playing tennis at the age of three, and practiced at the Westside Tennis Club. Her first coach was Alison Taylor &ndash; wife of former Wimbledon semifinalist Roger Taylor. Despite being a prolific performer, Klugman also tried her hand at several other sports. It was only during the Covid-19 pandemic that the British starlet decided to prioritise tennis.<\/p><p>Since the age of nine, Hannah Klugman has been coached by Ben Haran in Reeds Tennis School at Cobham. At the age of 13, she pipped Emma Raducanu to become the youngest British winner of a J3 event or higher. She also ended the year by reaching the final of the U-14 Orange Bowl. A few months later, Klugman announced her arrival by winning the LTA Junior National Championships U-16 in Roehampton.<\/p><p>At the junior Grand Slam level, Klugman is a three-time finalist including singles and doubles.
