McQueen&rsquo;s father, Scott McQueen, was a former hockey player who played for various teams in the WHL from the 1996-97 to 2000-01 seasons.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The majority of the time, however, Scott played for the Red Deer Rebels. As per the records, Scott McQueen played approximately 285 games as a defenseman, in which he scored 8 goals and had 57 points. Additionally, Roger&rsquo;s uncle Rennie is also a former hockey player who played in the 1992-93 season for the Spokane Chiefs.<\/p><p>Roger is happy to follow in his father&rsquo;s footsteps, and in January 2022, prior to starting his journey with the Wheat Kings, he described how it was his dream to always play in the same hockey leagues as his father.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve grown up always wanting to be like my dad and play in those leagues.
