Let us explore in brief his strengths, weaknesses, and draft projection ahead of the big day.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Radim Mrtka Overview<\/h2><p>Radim Mrtka is an ice hockey player who was born on 9 June 2007. The 18-year-old was born in Havl&iacute;&#269;k&#367;v Brod, Czech Republic. Mrtka is excellent at closing down the gaps, especially in the neutral zone, and is effective in his side-to-side movement as well.&nbsp;<\/p><p>As far as his skating is concerned, he has a good amount of straight-line speed that comes with his long strides. One of his main strengths lies in his hockey IQ, knowing exactly when to stay back or when to go forward. He plays a calculated and safe game, with limited dynamism, which can be a good thing at times, but it also limits his playmaking.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Mrtka is a good mover on the ice in spite of his size, but he is not an explosive skater. Building up momentum takes some time, even though his long strides help him overcome that.&nbsp;<\/p><p>One more area he needs to work on is his contribution on offense. When in the offensive zone, he tends to play a safe game that lacks creativity. Although he is not expected to be selected anywhere in the top 5, there is good reason to believe that he might be a top 10 candidate.
