One of the main factors to consider is the future of signal caller Tua Tagovailoa, whose time in South Florida hasn&rsquo;t lived up to expectations.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Tagovailoa had a torrid 2025 with just 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions, leading to him being benched towards the end of the regular season. Unfortunately, though, his massive contract will result in over $90 million of dead cap if released.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Turning our attention to the playmakers on offense, the Dolphins will need to identify an able replacement for Tyreek Hill. While Jaylen Waddle could take on that role, adding another reliable pass-catcher would be ideal, especially considering their tight end room is also less than ideal.&nbsp;<\/p><p>On defense, the two main areas of concern are the pass rush and the secondary. Last season was a huge letdown by the edge rushers, as Chop Robinson has yet to live up to his first-round draft billing. Bradley Chubb, who had a decent season, is most likely a cut candidate, and Jaelen Philips was traded midseason, which means Miami needs to bolster its pass rush.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Miami Dolphins NFL 2026-27 Draft Picks and how they can have an impact on the Total Over\/Under Wins Odds<\/h2><p>The Miami Dolphins have a total of 8 draft picks in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft. Based on their record from last season, their first-round draft selection is at number 11 overall, which is quite a good position to be in.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Additionally, they hold the number 43 overall pick from round 2 and then have 3 picks in the third round, giving them a total of 5 selections inside the top 100. While there is a need on both sides of the ball, the Dolphins should look to prioritize the defense first up.
