Despite a tough season, Dart flashed real promise with poise, arm talent, and leadership in limited action. Unfortunately, injuries derailed the process: Cam Skattebo injured and out for the season with a gruesome looking injury, Malik Nabers out for the season with an injury, and Dart himself who was in and out of the lineup. The midseason firing of head coach Brian Daboll further disrupted any momentum.<\/p><p>However, a major silver lining arrived with the hiring of John Harbaugh as the new head coach in the 2026 offseason. With a potentially healthy roster returning at some point during the 2026 season including Dart, Abdul Carter, Nabers, and Skattebo, the Giants have an intriguing upside that many want to witness. Harbaugh&rsquo;s experience and culture could unlock the young core as we saw him do that with the Ravens, but until everyone is fully healthy and clicking, bombastic expectations remain premature.
