The loss came despite an outstanding 34-point night by the team&rsquo;s PG, Sabrina Ionescu. CC made 7 triples, while the Liberty as a whole made just 6, giving their opponents a 17-6 edge from deep. <\/p><p>Breanna Stewart had 24 points while Nyara Sabally was active on the defensive end. But the team was swept away by Clark&rsquo;s magic. At any rate, it was only their first loss in ten games. <\/p><p>The Liberty is on top of most major offensive and defensive metrics, beginning their title defense on a promising note. They need Jonquel Jones to recover from her injury and Natasha Cloud to return to her early-season form.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>Atlanta Dream: Ascending but unproven<\/strong><\/p><p>The Dream comes into this game after an impressive 33-point win (89-56) as Allisha Gray exploded for a 32-point night. They held Mystics to 13 points or below in three of the four quarters. Washington was held to just 29.5% shooting while the Dream made 44.3% of their shots. <\/p><p>The Dream had a distinct 18-3 three-point advantage in what was another long-range galore for them. They have now won three games in a row, and already have a four-game winning streak under their belt. 6\/8 wins have been against struggling teams, but they all count. <\/p><p>Their mettle will be tested against opponents like Liberty.
